A replica of the combined Guy-Manuel and Thomas helmet design from Daft Punk's "Infinity Repeating" music video.
Project Notes
I started this project after seeing the music video for “Infinity Repeating.” I am a big Daft Punk fan and have always wanted to build one of their helmets, especially after seeing Volpin Props build them years ago.
The video’s combined version of Guy-Manuel and Thomas’s helmets brought that idea back. Before modeling it, I wanted to sculpt the rough shape by hand. I built the sculpt over a 3D print of my own head scan so I could work out the proportions and fit it specifically to me.
